Family Resource Networks, funded through Children’s Services, deliver prevention and early intervention services and supports for children aged 0-18, through a provincial network of community –based service providers. Through a ‘hub and spoke’ model of service delivery, FRN hubs organize and coordinate services in their geographic areas and in various cultural communities. These services are provided either directly by a hub, through spoke services, or collaboratively with informal and formal community partners.

The SPEC Hub is part of the Family Resource Network (FRN) providing information, referral and service navigation for families who have children 0 – 18yrs. The FRN supports expectant parents, families, caregivers and communities to support the safety and resiliency of infants, children, and youth within nurturing and supportive environments. Program and services will:
- support child safety, well-being
- child/youth development
- and strengthen parenting and caregiver knowledge.

Bridges In-Home Support offers in home information, support and advocacy services to families. (0-18yrs)
Child & Youth Skill Development programs which are evidence-based and focus on sessions that build supportive and nurturing relationships with opportunities to develop self-confidence, self-awareness, and self-esteem. (7-18yrs)
Parents As Teachers promotes early development, learning and health of children by supporting and engaging their parents and caregivers through home visitation. (0-6yrs)
Parent Education builds parenting confidence and skills by providing individual and group parenting programs information and support ie: Triple P. (0-18yrs)
Youth Connections offers after-school drop-in programs that provide engaging and safe activities to strengthen their connections with peers, family, and community. (7-18yrs)
Best Babies/Building Blocks provides home visitation services and community resources for families and information on child development as well as parent-child interaction and attachment. (0-6yrs)
